Blooming in late March, this is the earliest tall-stem Tulip variety, boasting a beautiful lilac colour, fading from vibrant to pastel, and a sturdy stalk that will withstand early spring rains and wind. These flowers grow to almost 2 feet and should be planted 3 inches apart and 6 inches deep between September and January for blooms in early spring. It is important to deadhead, but never remove the old foliage. Let it die back naturally, as it will enhance the energy and vigor of the bulb for next year’s blooms. Suitable for container growing and cut flowers.
