The Sunset Fritillaria is a show stopping bloom with their green and red leafed crowns and pleated, fiery orange petals and cream stigmas. These blooms grow 3-4 ft high and make excellent cut flowers and borders. They are hardy to zone 4-8, require full to partial sunlight and are deer resistant. Plant 6-8 inches deep and 10-12 inches apart in well drained soil, to prevent the bulbs from rotting, you can add a little sand at the bottom of the hole you wish to plant them. Avoid disturbing the bulbs at any time and only cut down the stems once they have fully turned brown and died back. hardy to zones 5-9
