Plant the crocus Prince Claus this fall and in a few short months it returns the favour with a colourful display as early as February. This is one of the so-called Snow Crocuses — as the snow retreats, it bursts into bloom. The foliage comes as an afterthought, slowly following the little blossoms. Crocuses are hardy to Zone 4, and will perform in full sun to partial shade. These are large for crocuses, too, growing 10-15cm (4-6″) tall. They reproduce fairly rapidly, so will fill in a planted area in two to three years. Our flower bulbs for fall planting ship in September through fall while supplies last.
Package contains 20 bulbs.
