Ranunculus is a genus of plants that includes over 500 species, including the annoying buttercup that appears in lawns. This is a blend of rather more tame and ornamental R. asiaticus, cultivated for their complex, peony-like, multi-coloured blooms. These appear from June right through August for a really special show. The plants grow 30-40cm (12-16″) tall with inconspicuous, mid-green foliage. They prefer partial shade and cool conditions. Ranunculus Mixed works well in containers, and florists will appreciate it as a source for cut flowers — they can keep in a vase for as long as ten days. Our flower bulbs for fall planting ship in September through fall while supplies last.
